Detecting Health Issues

Grooming provides a regular opportunity to check your pet’s skin for any lumps and bumps, irritations, sores or creepy crawlies (technical term) that may be hidden by their coat. We can also find and address any matting that may be causing them pain or later, health issues. Inspecting a dog or cat’s coat, skin, ears, nails, pads, eyes, mouth and (ahem) private parts should be done regularly, and we do it every time they visit our studio.

It is true that your dog’s “street cred” improves exponentially when they look well cared for, but it isn’t (just) about impressing the family at the next BBQ! More people will interact with a well groomed dog, as they simply look SO extra cute after their groom, which gives the dog more opportunities to socialise. This attention is what dogs live for, it is the reason they get up in the morning!
